The musical, which will have a limited run from the 10th to the 12th of July,  features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the writers behind the hit show Jersey Boys, and music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominated Andrew Lippa.

It is based on the beloved characters created by Charles Addams and follows Wednesday Addams, who is now grown up and hiding a secret – she has fallen in love with a young man from a respectable family.

With her mother Morticia unaware, can Gomez keep the secret until the two families meet for a fateful dinner, leading to hilarious chaos.

Directed by Matthew White, the show features choreography by Alistair David, production design by Diego Pitarch, and more.

The Birmingham shows follows two successful UK and Ireland tours and sell-out concerts at The London Palladium last year. Full casting for the West Midlands run will be announced soon.

Tickets go on sale to Birmingham Hippodrome Friends on 29 January at 11am, and to the general public at 2pm the same day. To book visit the theatre website or call 0121 689 3000.
