Peaky Blinders star Paul Anderson shares behind the scenes photos shooting season five
Peaky Blinders actor Paul Anderson has shared behind the scene photos preparing to shoot series five of the hit show.
The 40-year-old actor, who plays Arthur Shelby in the BBC One show, posted two pictures on his Instagram story of him getting into character.
Paul's character is the older brother of Tommy Shleby, played by leading man Cillian Murphy in the popular Birmingham-based show.
The gangster drama takes place during the aftermath of World War I, with many scenes shot at the Black Country Living Museum.
Paul and Cillian are among the stars revealed to be returning to the show, alongside Finn Cole, Sophie Rundle, and Helen McCrory.
Earlier this year, creator Steven Knight revealed he had plans for three more seasons of the show, and even teased that the show could spawn a film.
Speaking after receiving the shows first BAFTA Award, Knight said he hoped the show would return for a further three series and even a film.
Knight said: "Our ambition is to make a story of a family between the two World Wars. I've always wanted to end with the first air raid siren in Birmingham in 1939.
"We're getting approached to do all kinds of things - the ballet, the musical and the movie would be great.
"I wouldn't want to do it at the very end but maybe in between two of the series."
Peaky Blinders is expected to return to BBC One in 2019.
