Judas Priest exhibit to feature in Rock and Metal Museum at Bloodstock Festival

The Black Country metal icons, who headline the Catton Park event on August 10, will have a wall dedicated to them in the museum.

Pieces that will be on display include some of the band's album artwork, new pieces?, a themed British Steel guitar and an Angel V guitar from the museum's luthier-in-residence, Cynosure.

Judas Priest formed in 1969, and is best known for songs such as Living After Midnight, Electric Eye, Turbo Lover, You've Got Another Thing Comin' and Breakin' the Law.

The quintet has received a number of accolades across their career, including receiving a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2010, and their songs featured in video games such as Guitar Hero and the Rock Band series.

The band has sold more than 50 million copies of their albums to date; and is frequently ranked as one of the greatest metal bands of all time.

Other groups set to play Bloodstock Festival include the likes of Gojira, Nightwish, Mr Big, Wednesday 13, Alestorm, Emperor and more.
