The Italian Job coming to Birmingham in HD screening with orchestra
Fans of The Italian Job will be treated to a screening of the iconic film alongside a live big band and orchestra this summer.
The 1969 movie, starring Michael Caine, tells the story of Charlie Croker’s plan to steal a shipment of gold by bringing Turin’s traffic to a standstill, financed from prison by exquisitely-presented crime boss Mr Bridger.

A high definition remastered version of The Italian Job will be screened, with a live orchestra and band play the famous soundtrack by legendary composer and producer Quincy Jones, including the song On Days Like These during the opening sequence and The Self-Preservation Society.
The musical screening will come to Birmingham's Symphony Hall on Sunday, July 15.
Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow, priced between £27.50 and £49.50.
