Don McLean to play Birmingham
Don McLean will perform for fans in Birmingham next year.
The 72-year-old New Yorker, whose music career began back in 1969, is best known for 1971 megahit American Pie, as well as songs such as Vincent, Words and Music, Since I Don't Have You and Maybe Baby.

He will play the Symphony Hall on Thursday, March 10 next year.
Tickets for the show, priced between £40.50 and £45.50, are now on sale.
