Jazz musician to play Birmingham's Pizza Express
An American musician will perform at a Birmingham restaurant.
Vocalist, guitarist and composer Allan Harris will play at Pizza Express in Brindley Place on Saturday (May 13) as part of his Nobody's Gonna Love You Better tour.
The Brooklyn-born and Harlem-based jazz musician and his trio will be performing songs from his new album Nobody’s Gonna Love You Better (Black Bar Jukebox Redux).
He said: “I am looking forward to performing in Birmingham for the first time because I hear they are real jazz lovers.”
Harris performed at the 2012 London Olympics and the EFG London Jazz Festival and has released 10 albums.
