Matilda The Musical coming to Birmingham
Fans of Roald Dahl bestseller Matilda will be able to see the story brought to life in a new show coming to Birmingham.<!--more-->
Matilda tells the tale of an extraordinarily gifted young girl, held back by her uneducated, ignorant family. She and her schoolmates are tormented and bullied by the evil Miss Trunchbull - but, with the help of her magical abilities and an extra special teacher, she rescues her fellow schoolchildren and finds happiness for herself.

Matilda The Musical, created by the Royal Shakespeare Company, has won more than 85 international awards.
The show will come to Birmingham as part of its tour of the UK and Ireland.
It will come to Birmingham Hippodrome on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 and Saturday, September 8, 2018.
