Rapper upgraded to bigger venue
He’s become famous for the 15 mixtapes he’s released since coming onto the scene in 2009.
Toronto-born rapper Tory Lanez has brought all of his influences together on his new release I Told You.
He’s on the road with a major tour that reaches Birmingham’s O2 Academy on Wednesday, with support from VeeCee, having been moved from the smaller O2 Institute.
Toronto has played a big part in Lanez’s music, providing diverse influences.
“It’s one of the most cultural places out, and because of that it’s given me different ethnicities and originalities with my sound.”
