RAF Cosford Air Show a hit across the generations
Of the 50,000 who packed the Cosford Air Show site, 10,000 were children, to the delight of the organisers.
The youngsters from the very young to teenagers and hundreds of air cadets, enjoyed a massive interactive feast of activities on the ground.
Squadron Leader Chris Wilson, said: "We welcome a huge range of visitors from aviation enthusiasts to people with young families and there is as much on the ground for them as their is in the air."
With temperatures in the high 20s, sunhats, cold drinks and ice creams were the order of the day.
