Plea to vote for favourite venues in Dudley
People in Dudley are being asked to get behind their local venues – after three council-led buildings were named as award finalists.
Dudley Museum at the Archives, Stourbridge Town Hall and Dudley Town Hall have all been shortlisted in the Black Country category of the What's On readers awards 2020.
The museum has been entered into the best gallery/exhibition category, while Stourbridge and Dudley town halls are listed in the best arts/theatre venue. Dudley Town Hall is also in the best music venue category.
Councillor Ian Kettle, Dudley Council's cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said: "Dudley borough is a fantastic place to live, work and visit and I’m so pleased to see our wonderful venues being shortlisted for these awards.
"I would ask all our residents and anyone who visits our halls and museum to get online and vote for us."
People can visit www.whatsonlive.co.uk/readers-awards-2020 to vote, where they will be entered into a prize draw to win £1,000.
