New art exhibition at Himley Hall

An artist who has a permanent spinal injury has a solo exhibition running at Himley Hall, near Dudley, in the new year.

Andy Sargent will have 60 of his works of art in show in the hall from January 18 to April 5.

Mr Sargent, who is from Nuneaton, suffered his injury in 2010 and despite his disability produces paintings, drawing, photographs, sculptures and sewn creations. He has produced many new works specially for the new exhibition.

The exhibition will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
