Simeon, who attends Circus Mash in Birmingham, runs his own YouTube channel, with videos of him juggling for audiences across the UK.

The young performer was invited to meet the cast of Gandeys Circus, which has been in Dudley all this week, for an audition to join the cast as a guest artiste.

Simeon said: “I’ve been performing juggling with the circus school for two years so I wasn’t nervous when I went in the circus ring with Joel and Bippo at Butlin’s Minehead, but it was the best opportunity, better than I could ever have imagined!

“I really wanted to meet Bippo again – maybe give him some pointers as well.

“I started with five-ball juggling and then I had some tricks planned to impress at the audition. I’m quite confident. When I’m older I’d like to be a professional juggler full-time.

“I love the show. When I saw it at Butlin’s I liked the highwire with the man balancing on a chair, in Dudley it was great to see the wheel of death and the trapeze."

His mother Tracey added: "Simeon is only 11 years old and taught himself to juggle up to five balls, then we have had a teacher for a year to help correct posture and technique.

“Simeon had taught himself juggling from the age of seven and has just qualified to do nine ball juggling.

“We are currently in the process of applying for a Guinness world record and he is trying juggling with 10 and 11 balls.”

Gandey World Class producer Phillip Gandey said: “To put this in perspective, this is usually possible after years and years of practicing, and to our whole team this is truly is remarkable.

“This young man is incredible and a very exciting new talent. If he was older we would sign him on the spot and send him across the globe in our productions.’’

Gandeys Circus runs at Flood Street car park in Dudley until today.
