Things getting creepy at Dudley Zoo for Halloween
Visitors to Dudley Zoo can take part in a range of Halloween-themed activities during October half-term.
Youngsters will be able to follow a pumpkin trail around 40-acre site for the chance to win an adoption of one of the zoo's Egyptian fruit bats.
The pumpkin trail will run at Dudley Zoo between Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, November 3.
There will also be eerie arts and crafts in the spooky farm barn and the chance for children to design their own pumpkin poster in the Queen Mary Restaurant.
At 11.30am and 2.15pm each day visitors can come face-to-face with creepy critters in the zoo's Ghoulish Go Wild! Show.
And for those feeling extra brave, they can hear about the people who graced the cobbles of the 11th century Dudley Castle with LED ghost walks around the grounds.
The fun will also continue after-hours for little monsters who can join in the fun at the zoo's Halloween children's parties.
Between October 28 and 31, between 5pm and 8pm, families can ride the Ghost Train to the haunted castle courtyard – where there will be a children's show, disco, ghoulish games and crafts.
