We’re having a roaring time! Teach Rex comes to Wolverhampton
Youngsters were taken back to a prehistoric time with a education dinosaur event in Wolverhampton this week.
Teach Rex visited The Hangar on Poutney Street, in Wolverhampton, on Thursday(1) where children were able to meet and learn all about dinosaurs.
The shows featured moving model dinosaurs. Delivered by two primary school teachers, Teach Rex takes children on a journey through evolution with animatronic, interactive dinosaurs, which have been a huge hit across the UK.
Teach Rex will be returning to the venue later this month, before children in the region head back to school.
Gabrielle Hyde, marketing manager for The Hangar, said: "The sold out show received rave reviews from adults and kids, who learnt about the T-Rex, interacted with dinosaurs and took part in a dino disco.
"This was a new show and audience for us, so it was fantastic to see such a busy room full of adults and children having fun.
"We can’t wait to welcome Teach Rex back at the end of the month.”
Due to popular demand, a second event will take place on Thursday, August 29.
The shows start at 10am and 1pm. Tickets cost £10 for adults, £7.50 for children and under two's go free. A family of four can buy four tickets for £7.50 each.
