Flipping good time at Black Country Living Museum for Pancake Day
Flippin' good! Visitors to a museum were in for a special treat as part of a pancake celebration.
Staff at the Black Country Living Museum dressed up ahead of Shrove Tuesday to celebrate the upcoming holiday.
People could watch pancakes being made over stoves, hear about the tradition of flipping the batter mix and take part in the pancake races.
The races consisted of people flipping their pancakes while running.
The celebration ran between Saturday and Sunday, from 10am until 4pm.
The museum posted on Facebook: "We'm 'avin a flippin' good time this weekend for #PancakeDay."
Eight-year-old Sophie Bradshaw, from Oxfordshire, won one of the pancake races.
The youngster celebrated with her mother Sue Bradshaw and father Neil Bradshaw.
Nine-year-old Thomas Davies from Bromsgrove won another race, with James Eckloff of Birmingham rounding out the winners.
