LEAP trampoline park set up the scheme Leap and Lunch, where youngsters could take part in daily exercising games and eat nutritional hot meals provided by Hideaway Cafe.

The group of children, a select number from Bramford Primary School, got involved with interactive games walls and doing tricks on the trampolines to help promote a healthier lifestyle and healthier activities during the holidays.

With a team from Bramford School Staff coming up with the innovative idea, they managed to get some funding to trial the programme from contributions made from Asda.

Chris Campbell, managing director for LEAP trampoline park, said: "During half term children aren’t eating as healthy or getting out as much as they used to and we just wanted to give them that opportunity here at LEAP. ”

Chris said they are also looking into holding the event during the Easter holidays, with the scheme having received such great feedback.

He is now looking for any willing funders to support the next programme.
