The exhibition will open on Saturday August 4 and will showcase a selection of photographs from the club's city parade and party in West Park in May this year.

The two celebrations entertained more than 80,000 proud Wolves fans and images, interviews and a short film will offer a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the planning, preparation and celebration of the club's title winning success.

The exhibition pieces will feature work from Wolverhampton Council, Signal 107, Express and Star and the club itself.

Councillor John Reynolds, cabinet member for city economy, said: “May 7 saw pride in Wolverhampton come alive when the open top bus paraded through the city.

“I encourage everyone to come and see what a great day it was and if you were there on the day come and see if you can find yourself in one of the photos.”

The new display will also feature historic artefacts relating to the club, including pin badges, programmes, souvenirs, memorabilia and archive photographs.

To support the exhibition there will be a range of family activities planned at the Lichfield Street gallery and in Wolfie's Den at Molineux on matchdays.

The exhibition will run until October 28 and can be viewed during normal gallery opening hours from Monday to Saturday.
