Flight-themed activities coming to RAF Cosford for half term
Families are being invited to a week of flight-themed activities during May half term.
The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford has planned a week of wartime nostalgia from Saturday, May 26 to Sunday, June 3.
Visitors are invited to take part in a number of fun flight-themed activities, including donning wartime clothing and getting up close to two First World War aircraft, participating in a wartime virtual reality session and taking part in a Spot the Slang trail.
Families will be given an insight into life as an RAF pilot during the First World War with a rare chance to get a closer look inside the Sopwith Pup and Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter.
A First World War virtual reality experience will also enable visitors to step back in time and immerse themselves into the early days of the RAF through an augmented world.
The Museum is open daily from 10am - 5pm and entry is free.
