Keith Burns and David Calow, of the Midlands Branch of the Guild of Aviation Artists, have donated sketches depicting apprentices working on the Jaguar aircraft once used to train engineers to the base.

They had attended a recent sketch day at the held there and returned to present their framed pieces to the Station Commander, Group Captain Tone Baker.

The art now has pride of place in the headquarters of No 1 School of Technical Training where they can be enjoyed by thousands of staff and trainees. And are the first new original work to be produced involving Cosford aircraft and personnel for some years.
