Lincoln Blood, three, is having a great time trying out Toby the 1961 Vintage Fire Engine, which will be one of many vehicles on display

The 1961 engine will be one of more than 50 vehicles on show at Whittington Countryside and Craft Fair on September 2.

The fair starts at 10am on Bit End Field in the village near Lichfield.

It also includes tractor-and- trailer trips around the village, a host of arena events including Ferretworld, Falconry and the amazing Jez Avery’s Stunt Show, along with a huge array of craft stalls and demonstrations, animals of every type with dog show classes for every dog, dozens of children’s activities including pony rides, bungee trampoline and a climbing wall

Car parking is free, and entry is £12 for a family ticket, £5 for adults and £3 for concessions, with all profits being ploughed back into local charities and community groups.
