Halloween is fast approaching, which means the streets will soon be lined with carved pumpkins and trick-or-treaters wearing their choice of costume in hopes of being given a chocolate or sweet.
Spooky season also gives the perfect excuse for people to share their stories of the supernatural, whether it be seeing a ghost or sensing a spirit from the 'beyond'.
Among those who claim to have had encounters with the afterlife are Express & Star readers.

Zara K Henry described a chilling experience she had at the Greyhound and Punchbowl pub in Bilston.
Writing to Facebook, she said: "That place is haunted. [I] saw a cigarette levitate and flip over in there, and a penny rolled out of an empty room and [spin] on the floor.
"A barmaid that worked there saw a woman in period dress standing behind her when she looked in the mirror."
Jennifer Powell meanwhile claimed to have had a supernatural encounter at the former Royal Hospital in Wolverhampton, which closed in 1997 and is now being converted into flats for the over-55s.

She wrote: "There's the Headless Horseman on the A449 at Wall Heath and what was The Whittington was supposed to be haunted.
"I worked at the Royal Hospital and there was a ghost there, usually in the board room, several people saw that while on night shifts."
Des Thorpe spoke of spooky experiences he had while living in the Ettingshall Park area of Wolverhampton.
He wrote: "Strange things happened there and my wife and kids saw figures of people and animals.
"I believe it's more to do with science than spiritual. So much we don't know about time and space."
Elle Bell meanwhile spoke of seeing a "medieval guard" at Dudley Castle, where many spooky goings-on have been reported over the years.

Lisa Churchill claims to have seen a ghost "shoot out" in front of the car she was travelling in by Hilltop Golf Course, near West Bromwich.
She wrote: "Down Forge Lane, by Hiltop Golf Course, me and [my] grandad were driving down on way to visit my brother in hospital and a ghost shot out in front of us in day light.
"I looked at grandad and we both said together 'did you just see that', looked in rear view mirror [and] it was gone. No way was it a human, it came from bushes then across to other side bushes."
