Birmingham's Christmas Market set to go ahead this year despite pandemic
The popular Christmas market in Birmingham is set to go ahead this year despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The annual event, which is usually held at Victoria Square and New Street, is scheduled to take place between November 5 and December 23.
However the event's organising body, Frankfurt Christmas Market Birmingham, has warned this may be subject to change due to Covid-19.
An event spokesman said: "Event information may change due to coronavirus (Covid-19). Please check details and guidance prior to visiting."
Each year the festival, also known as the German Market, has more than 80 stalls selling a range of gifts from food to alcoholic beverages, craft items and other novelties.
