Using Zoom, Ballards LLP will be holding a virtual quiz night in aid of Kemp Hospice on Wednesday(20), between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The team of chartered accountants, business and tax advisors had planned to host a movie-themed quiz at Worcestershire County Cricket Club last month, but the event was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

But they have now turned to a virtual fundraiser called 'Ballards Pub Quiz at the Lock Inn' to raise funds for Kemp Hospice.

Agnes Dangreaux, business development executive at Ballards LLP, said: "The quiz is for everyone and will be a bit of fun. We don’t want to make it too serious with strict marking as the focus is on trying to raise as much money as we can for Kemp.

“This year Kemp is our chosen charity and we have extended how long we are going to support them for. Each year we normally pick a new charity, but we decided to stick with Kemp as it is such a great cause.

“We still intend to go ahead with the movie quiz at the cricket club. A virtual quiz will have to do for now, but it means we can still do our best to raise awareness of Kemp.”

The team at Ballards LLP are asking for a donation of £10 per household to join the quiz in a bid to support Kemp Hospice.

Charlie Homer, head of fundraising and communications at Kemp, added: “We are grateful for Ballards LLP’s continued support and we are looking forward to the quiz.”
