Frank Skinner has added extra dates to his new Showbiz tour

Following a completely sold out five-week run at the West End’s Garrick Theatre to start 2020, an additional 14 dates have also been added nationwide.

The West Bromwich-born star will end his tour of Showbiz with a performance at The Alexandra Birmingham, on May 10.

Albion fan Skinner sold out a 45-date national tour last year, with more sold-out runs at London's Leicester Square Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe.

Tickets for his latest tour went on sale today (FRI), at 10am, starting with a performance on April 3, at De Montfort Hall, Leicester.

Skinner said: “The more people like this show the more I want to do it.

"There were some places I didn’t do on tour and some I did do that sold out extremely quickly, so now I’m refreshed, refueled and raring to get back out there.”

Skinner announced the Showbiz tour during a non-stop 10-hour radio show, which marked the 10-year anniversary of his successful career at Absolute Radio.

His award-winning The Frank Skinner Show attracts more than a million listeners per week, has achieved 10m podcast downloads and saw him inducted into the Radio Academy’s Hall of Fame in 2016.
