Adapted Peter Pan performance to take place at Stafford Gatehouse
An adapted performance of Stafford's pantomime will take place this year for the first time for people with autism or dementia.
One of Stafford Gatehouse Theatre's performances of Peter Pan will be adapted in a variety of ways to benefit anyone who needs a more relaxed environment.
Lights will remain on low throughout the performance, sudden noises and bright lights will be softened and audience members will be free to move in and out of the showing as they wish.
James Tobias executive producer at Prime Pantomimes said: "We want our pantomime experience to be as accessible as possible and to offer every family the chance to enjoy one of the UK’s most festive traditions.
"In our inaugural year for Prime Pantomimes we are delighted to be able to offer a relaxed performance at all of our pantomimes including Peter Pan at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre.’
"In our relaxed performances audiences can expect there to be a relaxed attitude to noise, lights in the auditorium will remain on low throughout the show with sudden noises and bright lights softened.
"Audiences are free to move in and out of the auditorium throughout the show. These shows are always a really special occasion and we hope to see many of you there!"
The relaxed performance will take place on December 22 at 1pm and the BSL performance will be on December 30 at 2pm.
