Wolverhampton's Macca to headline show

Known for his pivotal role in the growth of the local grime scene, Macca worked his way up to national recognition as a prominent figure in StayFresh and TNG, often sharing "refreshingly positive and motivational messages" through his music. The debut EP, Winners Only, was an ode to hard work - and fans old and new alike will be able to see Macca in action when he takes to the stage at the Dunkley Street venue.
A spokesperson said: "A seasoned spitter with a vast oeuvre dating back to 2003, he was one of the first in his city to champion grime – although he’s experimented in plenty of other genres, recruiting R&B singers, tackling silky hip hop beats, and even collaborating with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Maverick Sabre over the years.
"With a strong back catalogue to his name including debut album 25 and this year’s critically acclaimed Winners Only EP – executive produced by the ever in-demand Swifta Beater – Macca has already earned plaudits from the likes of Sir Spyro, Logan Sama, Julie Adenuga and Tim Westwood."
People will also be able to hear material from his forthcoming new project - WinnersCircle.
Doors open on the night at 7pm with the show, which includes as-yet-named special guests, kicking off at 8pm.
Early bird tickets have already sold out, but regular entry costing £10 can be bought from the Newhampton Arts Centre website.
