60 Hampton Street, in Hockley, part of the Jewellery Quarter, will host the popular event, once again put on as a collaboration by Seasonal Markets and The Old Crown in Digbeth.

As usual, the hall will be decked out with traditional German Oktoberfest decor, including bench seating, and each reveller will get allocated seating and table service.

Traditional German beers will be available to quaff, and bars will be stocked with German gin, German wines and Oktoberfest-themed cocktails too. Alongside the drinks, Yardbirds will be cooking up traditional German schnitzel, as well as The Bournville Waffle Company creating apple strudel waffles and more.

A spokesperson said: "You should expect a world full of entertainment. We have DJs, live bands, a yodelling competition, table dancing, karaoke, drinking games and so much more.

"Don't fret, the return of the best-dressed competition is back this year too, so dust off your lederhosen this Oktober."

The event runs from 5.30pm to midnight on both October 18 and 19. Tickets are £12, which gains entry, reserved seating, a full line up of DJs, bands and entertainment, bars and street food.
