"I hope everyone will download it and listen to it," Donchez added.

"To be number one would be an absolute dream come true, but I'm happy if people just download the song.

"I'm hoping to put Wolverhampton back on the map, I'm getting messages from people across the world saying how much they love the song.

"Since BGT I've been really busy.

"Now I'll be looking to get the future talent of Wolverhampton on board with the company, as there is so much talent in Wolverhampton."

He added: "All the youngsters stop me in the street and ask me how I managed to do what I did, I say it was sheer determination and being passionate about what you do.

"If you're passionate about something you've got to really put your heart into it.

"I'm really grateful that I've got this far and now people can download it.

"I'm making a nine-track album which will be released at the end of February and then hopefully I'll be going on tour with a band."

This week Donchez has been appearing as a special guest in The Mary Stevens Hospice pantomime Cinderella at Stourbridge Town Hall.

He added: "Cinderella goes to the ball and as she's introduced and the prince is introduced then I'm introduced and I get the party going.

"The shows have been electric, it's been packed, I've really enjoyed it."
