TV comic Chris Ramsey is bringing his new tour show to the Black Country.

The popular Geordie will be stopping off at Dudley Town Hall on Friday, May 18 ,with his new show, titled The Just Happy To Get Out Of The House Tour.

Ramsey has appeared on Live At The Apollo, The John Bishop Show, Celebrity Juice, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats. He also hosts The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central.

Ramsey also starred in television comedy Hebburn, which was written by Jason Cook and Graham Duff and ran for two series.

It followed the Pearson family, Joe, Pauline and their son Jack, who secretly married a middle-class Jewish girl, Sarah, in a drunken binge in Las Vegas.

Ramsey, who began his career in comedy in 2007 by hosting an open-mic night in Newcastle, is a regular fixture at Funny Way To Be Comedy Club in Barnard Castle, having performed there on eight occasions.
