The alt-rockers, who recently appeared as Unsigned stars in The Ticket, have a support slot for Worcestershire band Nuns Of The Tundra at the O2 Institute in Birmingham.

Jump the Shark are a four-piece alternative rock band who blend psychedelia with heavy riffs and bitter-sweet pop melodies. Frontwoman Tasha Jones powers them with her drumming and vocals, with Theo Williams and Jon Murphy supporting on guitars and vocals and Matt Gregory on bass.

Formed in 2012, Jump the Shark won the Big Music Project 'Next Brit Thing' (young Brit Awards) in 2015. Their newest single, Daisy Chains was released in September.

“We want to hit the big festival stages,” Tasha said in her Unsigned interview. “We think we can get bigger slots by getting our music more exposure.”

2017 was a breakthrough year for headliners Nuns of the Tundra. The Worcestershire-based quartet consists of Troy Tittley (guitar, vocals), Arran Davies (backing vocals, guitar), Jim Smith (bass) and Melos Moody (drums).

Further support comes from Brummie band The Arosa and Malvern's Dead Dads Club.

Doors open at the Digbeth High Street venue at 6.30pm, with curfew at 11pm.

Tickets cost £6, with over-16s allowed in, or under-16s with an adult.
