Talking ahead of their appearance, Manchester quintet Milestones' members said: “We’ve been wanting to play Slam Dunk ever since forming the band, so it’s definitely going to be great doing it this year with so many of our mates.”

Perth rockers The Faim added: "We’re so excited to be playing Slam Dunk Festival in the UK alongside bands that have had a huge influence on us over the years, including Good Charlotte, PVRIS, Jimmy Eat World, Sleeping With Sirens, State Champs and many more. We couldn't be more pumped to play our first major festival in the UK at Slam Dunk."

Slam Dunk has also announced its annual Rock Sound Magazine Breakout competition, which gives up-and-coming bands the chance to play at one of the festival's three dates.

The winning band will also receive a feature in the magazine's print Breakout section on May 23, the right to sell merchandise at the festival, one guestlist spot per member, one AAA pass per member, and a plus one for their driver and merchandise seller if applicable.
