Roam, Goldfinger and Reel Big Fish have been announce for the event, as well as The Audition, in a worldwide reunion exclusive.

These acts join the likes of Good Charlotte, Jimmy Eat World, Thursday, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, Taking Back Sunday, Twin Atlantic and more for the NEC Birmingham event.

The Audition formed in 2003, and are responsible for hit songs such as Warm Me Up, Don't Be So Hard, Approach The Bench, and You've Made Us Conscious.

In early 2005 the band signed to Victory Records, and released their debut album Controversy Loves Company.

Danny Stevens of The Audition says: “We couldn’t more excited to be coming back to Slam Dunk Festival.

"We were part of the festival in the early years and the Slam Dunk shows and club nights in Leeds before that.

"To have our first show together as this group in nearly 10 years is really something special."

Ska legends Reel Big Fish return to Slam Dunk following successful sets at last year's event.

The band are famed for such hits as Sell Out, Cheer Up and Beer.

Reel Big Fish have released eight full-length studio albums, and have been independent from a major label since 2006.

Another returning band to the line-up is Los Angelian punk rock band Goldfinger.

In their early years the band is widely considered to have been a contributor to the movement of third-wave ska, a mid-1990s revitalization in the popularity of ska.

The quartet are best known for their songs Here In Your Bedroom, Superman, More Today Than Yesterday, and Counting the Days.

Pop-punk frontrunners Roam formed in 2012, and released their latest album, Great Heights and Nosedives, in 2016.

Alex Adam of ROAM says: “We’re so excited to be heading back to Slam Dunk with the new album.

"It’s always the rowdiest show ever and we definitely have some plans to step that up further this year with the new songs."

Slam Dunk comes to Birmingham's NEC on May 28.
