The evening will give local audiences the opportunity of an early preview of the next album shortly to be released

Born to Black Country parents, Pete had a paper round, dreamed, and played clarinet.

When he was 14-years-old he bought a bass guitar and was soon playing in social club bands around the industrial West Midlands.

He was a founder member of Dexys Midnight Runners , The Bureau and These Tender Virtues and a pivotal part of Dexys recent resurgence that culminated in a nine night residency in London’s West End as well as headlining the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury festival in 2014.

Pete and his band were invited as special guests across 32 sold out shows with The Proclaimers during their 2015 UK Tour and also featured at Looe Festival in 2016 and Curzon Cinema Festival, with Show of Hands, last year.

As usual, Music in the Hall will also feature a local youth act with Josh Smith, while the main support will be another local artist, the increasingly popular Ellisha Green.

Tickets are £12 and available at the www.musicinthehall.co.uk website.
