After signing to France's biggest independent record label - Naivë Records and touring more than 200 festivals around the world - plus supporting blues legend BB King - Anthony will tour the UK next month including a show as part of the Pizza Express Live series in Birmingham.

The date of the show is February 3, with jazz fans able to get up close and personal with one of this country's undervalued talents.

A spokesperson said: "The gig in Birmingham is actually part of a new tour where he plays tribute to the greatest male jazz singers of all time. So some Sinatra, Chet Baker, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Tony Bennett, etc.

"A couple of highlights include playing the 17,000-seat Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles as part of Playboy Jazz Festival, opening for BB King in Paris and duetting with Paloma Faith for BBC Radio 2's live New Year's Eve broadcast."

Doors open to the Gebruary 3 show at 6.30pm, with the performance starting at 8.30pm. For tickets, priced at £15, visit www.pizzaexpresslive.com/whats-on/anthony-strong-156606
