Black Sabbath star Tony Iommi rocks up to Birmingham for Blue Man Group show

Black Sabbath star Tony Iommi rocked up for the final performance of the Blue Man Group at Birmingham's Symphony Hall.

After the performance, the Black Sabbath star tweeted “Wow!!! I’ve never seen anything like it…”

World-renowned art company Blue Man Group came to Birmingham in a UK-exclusive set of dates.

Their Midland shows were the only UK dates on their world tour - and was the first time the group had performed in the country since 2009.

Town Hall and Symphony Hall (THSH) is currently working with the first-ever recipient of BIMM’s Tony Iommi Scholarship.

First year degree student, James Attwood is THSH’s Project SoundLounge Fellow and will lead a team of young people to program, produce and market their very own music festival in 2018.
