The Light House, based in Wolverhampton's historic Chubb Buildings hosted its 'Mistletoe and Mulled Wine' event on Sunday.

The event included Light House staff leading the festive sing along, featuring many Christmas and winter hits including 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town', 'Let it Go' and the Black Country Classic 'Merry Christmas Everybody'.

The event was first hosted five years ago and is now one of the venue's most popular events.

Marketing manager Julie Homfray said: "Each year we add some more difficult songs into the repertoire, with great success.

"With the aid of mulled wine, this year we attempted extra tricky songs including Mariah Carey, Walking in the Air and even Fairytale of New York.

"We're not a choir, we're not professionals, we just love a good festive sing and film, who doesn't?

"I'd like to thank everyone who came along and made the event such a success and wish them all a very merry Christmas."

As part of the event there was a screening of Christmas classic, It's a Wonderful Life and children's favourite, Elf.

The Elf screening was sponsored by the University of Wolverhampton Alumni.
