Orchestra set to turn a Birmingham car park into a venue for weekend event
A symphony orchestra of 50 musicians are going to transform Level 1 of the North Car Park in Birmingham into a concert hall this weekend.
The acclaimed Multi-Story Orchestra are leaving their car park home in South-East London to come to Birmingham to perform Beethoven’s most famous piece of music, Symphony No. 5 as part of 2017's Birmingham Weekender.
Led by Christopher Stark, their approach to presenting live classical music in unexpected settings has been widely celebrated. Their Birmingham performance includes one of their unique Living Programme Note’, where the whole Multi-Story Orchestra celebrate and explore the symphony with the audience.
