Drayton Manor Zoo breed and raise them in a safe environment because their habitats are being threatened with destruction, meaning their population is decreasing. They are listed as Least Concerned on the IUCN Red List, however. threats such as the pet trade are also a danger to their species.

These two were born into the Tamworth zoo where they live with their parents, Chillido and Wicket.

Chris Mitchell, Zoo Manager at Drayton Manor Park, said: “Everyone here at the zoo is over the moon with our baby Pygmy Marmosets and it’s always fantastic when our breeding programmes deliver us some new arrivals.”
