Liam, from Bushbury, celebrated his 24th birthday yesterday.

The 1D Fans Give group, formed in 2013, set about raising money for The Way Youth Zone, School Street, Wolverhampton, to mark the occasion.

As of yesterday afternoon the Justgiving page set up by the group had generated $2043 (£1579).

Liam made a surprise visit to The Way in April 2015 for its 'topping out' ceremony.

The youth zone feature a 4G football pitch, boxing ring, dance studio, gym and sports hall.
