Open-air musical heading to Sandon Hall
A two-day open air musical event is being staged at Sandon Hall, near Stafford.
Music Under the Stars will see a performance by Beyond the Barricades on Friday, September 8, and Access All Arias and Gordon Giltrap the following day. Both start at 7pm.
Beyond the Barricades features West End and Broadway musical songs from past principal performers from Les Miserables.
The shows are being performed on the front lawn with the hall, the ancestral home of the Earls of Harrowby, as a backdrop.
Access All Arias are Sarah Ryan, Helen Hobson and Sarah Eyden, a three part harmony group who perform a classical repertoire and Gordon Giltrap is one of the UK's most respected guitarists, best known for 1977 hit single Heartsong.
