The group are set to run a tasting session on September 20 at Hayes Green Community Centre where visitors can try their hand at playing marching drums, glockenspiels, cymbals or bugles.

The band plays a variety of events such as carnivals, summer fetes, parades and fund raising events. They also have a speciality Black Light Display which is done using ultraviolet lights and luminous sticks.

They recently played at the re-enactment of The Battle of The Alamo for the 300 year anniversary of Freemasonry.

Practice night is every Wednesday from 6.30pm until 8.30pm with a donation of £2. Tea and coffee is provided. Once joined, members do not have to invest in expensive uniforms. Jackets, drums, ties and polo shirts are supplied by us for them to use.
