Alton Towers announce dates for Scarefest 2017
Alton Towers have announced the return of their spook-tacular event - Scarefest.
The theme park becomes home to Halloween in October, remaining open until 9.00pm so visitors can enjoy their favourite rides in the dark.
Extra entertainment will be available for all ages such as live shows, horror mazes and scare zones.
A new maze is being opened this year alongside their existing three multi-award winning mazes - Terror of the Towers, Sub Species and Altonville Mine Tours.
The theme for the fourth maze is yet to be announced.
The Freak Show Scare Zone is set to return, inviting visitors to walk among a variety of weird and wonderful characters.
For younger visitors there will be live shows, dance and stories, a dancing flashmob and House of Monsters for them to explore.
Alton Towers Scarefest will be open from October 7 to 8, October 14 to 15 and October 20 to 31, 2017.
