New Bridgnorth cafe announces opening date and live music acts

The eagerly-anticipated Riverside Blues Cafe and Music Rooms has announced its opening date.

The themed cafe will open August bank holiday weekend on Friday, August 25.

Across the weekend the cafe will host an array of live music, such as Wolverhampton The Voice star Megan Reece, country musician Gary Hall, Birmingham's Megan Daly and Wolverhampton blues band Creepin' Six.

The cafe, that overlooks the River Severn, is themed after the American deep south and will serve a variety of American-style dishes and craft ales. On the opening weekend, only the bar will be open and food service will start the following week.

It will also regularly host live music nights, as well as offering a range of vocal and music lessons in its on-site music rooms.
