People urged to 'Enjoy Wolverhampton'

People are being invited to take advantage of the Enjoy Wolverhampton 'Visit the City' programme of activities and events this summer.

People can get anything from reduced tickets to see The Human League in concert to afternoon tea at the Ramada Park Hall Hotel & Spa.

Councillor John Reynolds, city of Wolverhampton cabinet member for city economy, said: “Wolverhampton is a vibrant, thriving city with plenty to offer every day of the year.

“The summer Visit the City programme gives you the opportunity to take advantage of a host of special deals.

“It is a great way to sample the best of the city’s theatre and music offer and visit places you might not normally think of visiting.

“We are really excited about this year’s programme. It is a great initiative showcasing our great city.”

The Grand Theatre is offering £20 tickets for an adaptation of Ruth Rendell’s thriller ‘A Judgement in Stone’ from Monday, July 3 to Thursday 6.

Bantock House Museum and Park is hosting two outdoor shows - ‘Life’s A Beach’ from Friday, July 7 to Sunday 9, and ‘Bellevue Hotel’ on Saturday, July 15.

A Young People’s Music Concert will take place at Wolverhampton Art Gallery on Friday, July 14, at 1.10pm, with admission free.

The Slade Rooms is also holding a free VIP Music Fair on Saturday, July 15, from 10am to 4pm.
