Love Letters no longer coming to Wolverhampton Grand
The UK tour of Love Letters will no longer be coming to the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton as Hollywood legend Ryan O'Neal is having back surgery.
The production with his co-star Ali MacGraw was due to be at the Lichfield Street Theatre in November.
It has now been postponed indefinitely as Ryan O’Neal recovers from the back operation.
The Grand Theatre will be contacting patrons who have purchased tickets to advise what to do next.
David Ian, producer of Love Letters said: “The UK tour of Love Letters due to open this September, is unfortunately postponed due to Ryan O’Neal requiring back surgery and a period of postoperative recovery. We send Ryan our best wishes and hope he has a speedy recuperation. We advise audiences to contact their point of purchase for further information.”
Adrian Jackson, chief executive of the Grand Theatre said: “We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause our patrons, but unfortunately this is something beyond our control. We will make sure the refund process is as smooth as possible for our customers. Everybody at the Grand Theatre wishes Ryan a speedy recovery."
