More than 50 artists will play tribute show for Stourbridge DJ
More than 50 artists will perform at a drum and bass night to be held in memory of a popular DJ who died aged just 31.
Adam Tombs was well known on the drum and bass scene around Stourbridge and would perform at the High Voltage nights in the town.
Hundreds of people turned out for Mr Tombs' funeral after he died suddenly in his sleep in April.
The last ever High Voltage event, billed as Toomz' Last Dance, will be held at The Bell in Stourbridge on Friday, June 30.
There will be three arenas and performers playing drum and bass, speed garage and old school.
The bill will be made up mostly of Midlands DJs including DJ Escape, Dialogue, Gold Dubs, Filthy Habits, The Force, Looney, Midknight, Big Love and Raw Theory.
Entry before 11pm is £3 and £5 after. All money on the door will go to the British Heart Foundation.
People wanting to attend are asked to arrive early as the club is expected to reach capacity.
Around 500 people attended the funeral at St James Church in Wollaston, Stourbridge, in May.
Mr Tombs, of Cathcart Road, Stourbridge, had also worked at the family business Castle Road Motors, in Kidderminster.
