Slam Dunk Festival 2017: Local acts on shortlist to play announced
For the first time in over three years, Slam Dunk festival and Rock Sound are teaming up to give one local band the chance to play at the Midlands site.
Now, the top five for the Midland's date at Birmingham NEC on May 27 has been announced.
The finalists include the likes of Birmingham's You Know The Drill, Derby's Skies In Motion, Bristol's Highlives, Lincoln's Savour The Silence and Belfast's Dream Awake.
The Rock Sound Breakout Stage features Area 11, Casey, Homebound, Makeout, Ocean Grove, Sylar, The Gospel Youth and Vukovi, and hits all three dates of this year's Slam Dunk Festival.
The winner will also play alongside the likes of Enter Shikari, Don Broco, Reel Big Fish, Neck Deep and more.
