Sir Patrick Stewart joins Molineux crowd
From Hollywood to Molineux – actor Patrick Stewart was spotted among the crowd at a Wolves match this week.
The 76-year-old, famed for his appearances in Star Trek and X-Men as well as spells on the West End stage, went to see his beloved Huddersfield beat Wolves 1-0 on Tuesday night.
Izzy Brown's 31st minute goal secured Huddersfield's play-off position and left Wolves 15th in the table with games against Derby and Preston still to come.
Stewart, a lifelong Terriers fan who was born in Yorkshire, is now hoping to see the Championship outfit make their way to the Premier League after securing a play-off spot.
After receiving the Empire Legend award last month, the actor said promotion would make 2017 a perfect year.
He added: "Huddersfield Town Football Club have to get into the Premiership this season to make my year perfect – so it's very close."
The Hollywood star treated the first team to a viewing of his new movie Logan recently.
