The producers of Cilla, The Musical, are holding open auditions around the country to find the perfect songbird to play one of the most famous and fabulous Liverpudlians, Cilla Black. The role is in a new musical depicting her life and rise to fame. Auditions will be held at the Birmingham New Alexandra Theatre on May 9.
The executive producer and Cilla's son, Robert Willis, says: "She was a natural born performer who lived to entertain her audience. We are hoping to find that person who also dreams big and has the talent to match. We can't wait to meet you!"
