The museum launched skip into summer on Saturday – which will see it open seven days a week between April 8 and September. It started this week with drop-in Easter and springtime craft workshops for children on Tuesday and Wednesday, who made sock bunnies to take home. There were indoor and outdoor Easter trails as well as lawn games like Connect 4 among others.

Art and craft events will take place on April 18 and 19 at £2.00 per workshop between 11am and 3pm. The museum is now open every day from 11am to 5pm. Last entry is at 4.30pm. For more details go to www.museumofcannockchase.org or call 01543 877666
